Evinrude 9.9 Engine Cowl ID???

I am trying to figure out what year an enige cowl I may buy is. Any tips? I can email you a photo is it helps...it looks like a late 70's-80's but not sure, it's white with a red and blue graphic on it with the black Evinrude type...anyway, I need one for my '86 9.9 Ev...

hello, mi 1985 rude is as u described with little E in blue and red, i think u got the right cover...
