lower unit 96 150

have a ton of metal on my drain plugs the manual kinda sucks for taking it apart what can i expect when i dig into this anything to look for or do

If i was you, i would replace the water pump and get a lower unit sealing kit. replace all the gaskets and seals in the lower unit.
