72 johnson 100 hp engine ??

hello,<br />here is what is happening.<br />everything was good then when you let the engine idle to long is would stall.<br />need starter fluid to start again.<br />we replaced the plugs with ngk.<br />idle good but low power and when you put it wide open it just dies.<br />can someone help.<br />thanks

Sounds like fuel starvation<br />first off don't put starting fluid in a 2 stroke.<br />It has no oil in it hence motor results bearing faliur. Mix you some gas in a squrit bottle and use that.<br />plugs L76V or QL77JC4 gap at 30 champion<br /><br />try changing your plugs and see if that helps
