Might be worth a phone call to ask.<br />It does seem that I remember reading that the newer OMC drain and fill plugs used a flat washer rather than the 'O' rings used in the past.<br /><br />Charles
Hello<br /> in recent past OMC used 3 types of sealing methods.<br />the black paper gasket is to be used when the sealing surface of the drain screw is smooth.<br /> the white plastic washer is to be used when the sealing surface has a single rasied ridge on it.<br /> the oring is only used when the sealing surface of the screw has a face groove machined in it to allow the oring a seat area.<br />if you attempt to mix and match it will leak. the best one is the sealing screw with the small raised ridge and the white gasket<br /> good luck and keep posting
In my experience, if the vent/fill screws are threaded all the way to the head of the screw, use the nylon washers. If the screw threads don't go all the way to the head of the screw, use the O-rings...
