I have have v-4 omc cross flow's there are not any tags on motors all I have is serial numbers (R8544030, R8545777 on plugs in the head ( I think they are serial numbers) can anybody tell me year, HP or if I can look them up some where? thanks
yes it is on the freeze plug and after the letter R is 85 and that is the year they should be but I don't know if they are 100 or 140 I had an older 140 with the bubble back but I don't know if that really has any thing to do with horsepower. I need to replace one powerhead. thanks for your help
