1940 Johnson HA15 Gas/Oil Ratio

I have a 1940,Johnson, Mod HA15, ser.# 374979, need gas/oil ratio, is it air cooled? What type of material do I make gaskets out of?

Ya' got an oldy there Larry....welcome to iboats.<br /><br />I would suggest a 25:1 fuel/oil mix. Lotsa bushings in the older shakers.<br /><br />It's probabaly equipped with a water pump impeller.<br /><br />A gasket material resitant to fuel and oil would be good.<br /><br />Don't know if they would have one, but check the site below for service manual and parts book.<br /><br /> http://ww3.kencook.com/evinrudejohnsonmanuals/ <br /><br />Keep us posted.
