Hello guys,<br /><br />can anybody tell me the correct Sierra parts-number for my Johnson, 2 cylinder, handstarter<br />I wonder whether it's the 18-5768 or the 18-5758, the latter according to:<br /> http://www.boatingsolutions.com/johnsonpowerpacks.htm - Johnson 30hp 1984<br /><br />As for the 18-5768, there seems to be a difference whether you have a remote model or not.<br /><br />Greetings from Germany<br /><br />Peter

For a 1984 30 HP, Manual or Electric, 18-5758 is the one you want, if it's a Sierra. It would be different for a 2000 Model, as the title of your post suggests. You can find either on this site, but they are not Sierra.<br /> web page

According to the sierra catalog (2003)<br /> 30hp 2000 18-5768 (Except remote models ?)it replaces oe# 584908 and 5001344 ,used 1993 - 2001 20-50hp .<br /><br />The 18-5758 replaces oe# 582453 and 583380 , used 1977 - 1984 ,4 - 60hp .<br /><br />18-5758 30hp 1984 ,<br />18-5765 30hp 1985 ,<br />18-5763 30hp 1986-88 ,<br />18-5768 1993-2001 30hp
