Did it do it before the service was done? What exactly was done? Has the motor been sitting? What spark plugs? What fuel? How old? Whats the compression? When was it decarbed last?

hello
I would drain and flush the carbs. remove the airbox then tilt the motor up and remove all of the fuel drains then using a can of spray carb leaner flush them good. spray it through the main jets as well as the idle and intermediate jets as applicable.
good luck and keep posting

The fuel is only 4 weeks old and i only use premium, the boat shop put in NGK plugs change the petrol filter and drained the carbys, i last used the boat 3 months ago and it was running fine, i have not done a pressure test on the cylinders as yet.

Get fresh 87 octane fuel. Get Champion plugs. Then follow Rodbolts advise and youll be good to go.

Good luck!

That engine wont run on NGK,s. It will only run well on Champions. I will usally goof on a new guy when he come to work for me. I will put NGK in a digital OMC ignition and see if the new guy can figure why it runs so poorly. QL78YC champion only in the digital OMC.
