1991 Evinrude 40 Carb re-build??

Was told i need to clean the main jet located in the center of the carb.What is the name of the special tool needed for removal?<br />Thanks all.

It is simply a screw driver side ground to a flat blade with no taper such as a conventional screw driver has. Get a phillips screw driver with a 3/16 shank, cut off the head leaving a 3 inch shank. With a file, file a flat blade to just fit the slot in the jet. These type screw drivers are common in the gunsmith trade.
