what would cause only one cylinder to fire?? only getting spark from one coil. replaced coil that was not firing and have the same problem.

Bob - First A big WELCOME!!! As to the problem.<br /><br />I would start out by swaping - one at a time - plugs, ignition wires and coils. If that does not do it replace the points & condenser.

Bob...look for the orange wires coming from the power pack to the ignition coils. The upper wire will be orange with a blue strip. Switch the wires. Top wire to bottom coil and vice versa. Check for spark again. If the situation reverses, the power pack is at fault. Replace it. <br /><br />Keep us posted as to your progress.<br /><br />PS to bubba....ya' count real good :D

I would like to thank everyone for their help. Turned out to be the power pack. Replaced it and motor is doing fine. Thanks to all.
