hey i need help, my motor wont keep proper fuel preasure when you go full throtle causing my engine to starve for fuel, can someone help. thanks.(note) i've changed bulb, tank,fuel line etc............

I take it this is a mid-60s to mid-70s 33hp. I don't think they made 33hp engines any other time.<br /><br />Well, it sounds like you need a new fuel pump then. I take it it runs fine if you give the bulb a squeeze while at WOT. The fuel pump is sold as a whole unit (no repair kits available), and should be available from any Johnny/Rude dealer. Alternatively, you could get one here.<br />The only other thing I could think of is that you somehow are loosing primary compression on the bottom cylinder. But the engine would idle pretty bad if that was going on.<br />(PS - if the fuel pump is leaking, your engine may be running rich on the bottom cylinder. Check out the sparkplug)<br /><br />Good luck!

Another possibility is that the fuel supply system is not air tight. A common problem is the o rings in the connectors to the engine and tank. They are easily replaced. Also check for cracked fuel lines and other potential sources for air.
