DJ:

You obviously posted it first. I guess I just missed your post while darting back and forth from here to my Email.

Sorry 'bout that.

Red sky at night. . .
JB
I guess everyone will think twice telling someone that dunked their motor "It's Trashed"

I can't believe it, if there weren't pictures...

I couldn't figure out how to post a photo on here this afternoon, but if any of you guys want to see the stupidest human trick with a boat (2nd best to Tugboat), drop me an email and ask me for the picture. It was just sent to me by a friend today and it's a freakin' riot.

Email: txsriverrat@hotmail.com
Jesus f-ing christ...that's really something! That's almost too hard to believe...lol
I hope nothing like that ever happens to me...If it did, I think I might have to change my *********!
is it possible that we are being hoaxed?
this tug must have awesome bilge pumps,
and how did it catch up to the barges? wouldn't they have been swept away,
or how did the barges get past the bridge?
with photo editing software you can't even believe photos anymore.
Hats off to the talented photo manipulator.

In the 8th picture the tow boat is 60% under water and in the real boat world that means you are going to the bottom.

Thanks for the photos
Where did you get that notion, Happy?

Many boats are 60% below the surface level in normal trim.

Having read the original news story plus a narrative from the Captain (this actually happened about 1975) I am satisfied that it really happened.

Red sky at night. . .
JB
