how well will a 6 degree modified v, allwelded 16 foot jon boat handle.<br />do they have any thing do be aware of on tight cornering.<br />boat will be powered by a 55 horse outboard jet.<br />thanks to any who reply

In tight turns it will lean in and carve thru the turn like any boat. In sweeping fast turns expect some slide. Some folks hate sliding, some can live with it.<br /><br />Kelly Cook

Hi John,<br /><br />I'm an advocate of trim tabs.<br />Every boat should have 'em.<br /><br />Joking apart, there's no add-on that I can think of that makes such a handling difference to the average planing hull.<br /><br />Maybe doubling the horsepower . . . .
