I need to know how to drop the lower unit to replace the water pump..I've tried and it only drops down approx 1" and won't go any lower..<br />1977 85hp johnson outboard motor..<br />Thanks for any info..<br />Hector
Welcome aboard iboats Hector.<br /><br />I believe ezeke just solved your problem. Heres' a little more advice we always like to give out.....get a manual. Will pay for its' self many times over.
