tiller handle replacment 15hp 1988

i just bought a tiller handle off ebay, arrived today, says its from a 20 hp but will fit 9.9 to 35 hp.<br /> i have 1988 15hp and it bolts up all god but the throttle cable is way too short...heres the problem<br /><br />can i purchase just the cable or can this one be extended?<br /><br />my old one , the cable froze and after trying to remove it...well, lets just say i learned my lesson<br /><br />thanks<br /><br />m ikey

Hi Mike,<br /> Yes, you can get the cable seperately. It's not a huge deal to replace.... Lots of plastic parts in the grip section, so work slowly and don't force anything...<br />- Scott
