johnson seahorse 3hp mod#JW-10 I am trying to find what year it is. it has spark in one cyl. coils look cracked? also looking for carb/float kit and service/parts manuals

Coils are available over the counter at your local Johnson/Evinrude dealer. Also available through iboats, NAPA, West Marine, etc. through the Sierra line of aftermarket parts. You can replace everything under the flywheel for approximate $50.00. Maybe less if you shop around a bit. All those sources will also have the carb kit and waterpump parts. Parts manual can be had through the Ken Cook Company (www.kencook.com). A general service manual from Seloc or Clymer may cover your motor, too (not much change in the 3hp up to about 1967).<br /> Have fun!<br />- Scott
