johnson 115 (maybe spun prop)

after i decarbed i get alot more rpm and now at full speed i think my prop is slipping if so what does it take work wise and how much money to fix.

First off, make sure it is spun.<br /><br />With a permanent marker, draw a line on the prop outer hub and a corresponding line on the prop inner hub.<br /><br />Run the boat and see if the lines stil match up. If not, it's spun.<br /><br />Re hubbing a prop is NOT a do it yourself proposition. A prop shop needs to do it.

do you take off the prop and take it to them or do they need the motor.
