I run a evinrude 30 I believe the year is 1995. I have had the lower unit pressure tested twice at a marine. Both tests passed, however after a day of running the motor the oil comes out milky. I metioned this to the mechanic after the fist test. Problem not resolved. Any ideas what could be causing this? I bought the engine last summer so I don't know the past history.
Thanks

Welcome!!

Passed the pressure test -- what about the vacuume test? He should have done it the first time and certianly the second time. Or did you just specify the pressure test?

One other thing to look at are toe gaskets/orings on the fill and vent screws...chances are your mechanic is putting the old ones back in after the test...just a minor thought :)

Thanks for your imput. I did change the orings on the two screws. At the marine I was told that evinrude switched orings on the fill and vent screws then changed back to the oringinal style?

Thanks for reply. I checked my bill and they did a 2.5 hr pressure test and a 3.5 hr vacuum test and found no leaks.

I checked my bill and a pressure test was done for 2.5 hrs and a vacuum test was done for 3.5 hrs. no leaks where detected.
