Re: Quick Question

Hey
Thanks for writing back on my questions. I must have written the wrong number down on my Model Number. So the 15 is the HP and the 74 is the year, so what is the R mean? I wonder why I put a "S" on the end of 15E74S?
Thanks for all the info.
Jay

Re: Quick Question

R stands for 'Rope start' where E would stand for 'Electric start'. An L in there would be a Longshaft (20") engine, for example a 15EL74 would be an Electric start Longshaft 15hp engine.
I belive the S tagged on the end is just a production run code. It's really meaningless to us.

Hope that explains it! :)

Oh, and if you make an error in your post, just click the 'Edit Post' icon on it. Then you can make your corrections.
