1992 johnson 175 faststrike

can not get a spark from right bank <br />(in neutral or in gear)tried disconnecting shift switch same problem also tried disconnecting black with yellow tracer at switch with no results,should this wire have any voltage at all(has.03 volts).any other suggestions,does anyone know if the right bank starts working at a set rpm or once it"s put in gear it should be firing

Voltage on the black/yellow can take out the pack. The starboard bank should fire anytime the port does.<br /><br />Try unhooking the large red cannon plug on the main harness and check sperk again. If you try to start it with the plug undone you will have to flood it to shut it off.

tried unhooking large cannon plug on main harness still have same problem.how can I check to see if power pack is still good? or any other ideas.

My 95 175 opro had similar problem. Powerpack is one unit divided in two internally. Thought it was shift switch but testing per the manual showed half of the pack dead.
