Hello everyone, I have question for all you aces out there I have a RDE-19M are all cowlings :D the same for that HP and year? and also where can I buy a new cowling gasket/seal or is this a laughing matter. Any help would be appreciated. :D

Cowling gasket/seal, do you mean the one that fits round the edge of the lower cowl, that stops the main cowl rubbing on it?<br />I got a suitable rubber moulding from an auto accessory store, it's used for door edges on older cars, or you could try the stuff that's used for edging motorcycle windscreens, it's a smaller section but should fit.

someone told me they were useing ges line and cutting down the side of it, I haven't tried it yet. The last "new" one I found the wanted $80.00 for it, thats just to much!

I thought about gas line, but it seemed too bulky. The door strip I bought was about £3 ($5) for a 2 metre roll.

The cowl you have is probably the candy-apple color. Johnson called it Holiday Bronze. The RJE-19 and RJEL-19 models of the 1957 35hp were painted Javeline Gold.

Yes to Petrolhead, that seal Thanks to everyone for the help I should have been more clear I was refering to the shape of the cowling
