1996 Johnson 90hp throttle ?

I have a 1996 Johnson 90hp 4 cly and the throttle cable was sticking so I changed it out and now the motor idol at 700-900rpms but when I am at WOT it is running at 4200-4500 rpms can anyone tell me how to increase the rpms at WOT with out increasing the 700-900 rpms at idol

If you are sure you put everything back together in the control box correctly, Adjust the trunnion nut at the motor end and make sure your carb flaps are perfectly hoizontal at the full throttle setting. Do this without the motor running. Then re-check your idle speed. Then re-check your RPM's...
