1985 40 hp Johnson hood/lid

Anyone out there know of a website that deals in used motor hoods. I know I have seen them but did not bookmark them. I am looking for a motor lid for my 40 horse Johnson. The latch handle on the back is broken in half and hard to lift up without a pliers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why not just order a new handle from your local dealer and make the repair? Do you really need the whole bonnet?

Hello alcan,<br /><br />Never knew you could get just the handle. Do you think they would still have one for a 1985 though? Just thought it would be too old to get replacement parts for it. Thought it would be easier to just get the whole bonnet, but I will try your suggestion. Thanks.
