johnson 78 115 v4 stalls when motor is not tilted

Hi I have a quick ? when I start my johnson up if the motor is straight up it will stall out after about 45 seconds and is real hard to start after but if I give it some tilt maybe 25 degree tilt it runs perfectly while at idle and once it warms up it will run without the tilt. I kinda of think the carbs are loading up but that is a geuss is it in the right direction. Thanks 4 the help GIT R DUN

I agree that it sounds like carbs, LDH.<br /><br />Careful attention to float needles and float levels.<br /><br />Good luck.
