I was outside poking around and learning where everything is on this new motor I have. I have 2 questions.

1. On the silencer box that attaches to the carbs, on each side there is a little door or cover that covers the bottom 1/3 of the total opening. What is this for and should it be there?

2. On the port side of the engine there is a small (1/8" ID) rubber hose that comes off a small fitting on the base of the powerhead. It seems to wrap around to the top of the engine and attach to nothing. What is this for and is it supposed to be attached to anything?

Thanks!!!

For question #2, look at the backside of the top of the air box on the port side. There should be a hole there the correct size for that hose to stick into.

Steve,

I know this has nothing to do with the question, but can you e-mail me or give me your e-mail, mine's jon@jtinteractive.com

I just want to ask you a few questions about your boat because I have the same one.

Thanks.
