I have a friend that has an old Larson 16' Inline 4 Volvo I/O. The fuel tank is next to the engine. He has tried to find a Bow Tank on the internet, but hasn't had any luck so far. Anyone here know where to get a 10-15 Gallon bow fuel tank?

Thanks Guys.

Craig

Mercury140-16;

I would be carefull how much extra weight I put in the bow. Handling at cruising speeds could be an issue.

Not really nautiJohn, his boat's top speed is about 25 - 28, we are just trying to get some of the weight off the stern to assist it in climbing out of the hole.

Craig

Not sure about tanks that small. I had a 17 foot 1970 Larson I/O that always had a bow tank and it got rusty. Was a little bit of work, but was able to change out the tank with an $80 plastic one from Overtons. Worked great. Can't remember the size, but know it was more than 15 gallons.
