Re: Its Here! $3/gal
Of course it's a free country. But that's not my point is it. (Unless of course you live in a country that is not free, but that is another debate to have elsewhere). When it costs more for a litre of bottled water than it does for a litre of petrol, and complaints are forthcoming about the cost of that petrol, what does that say?

When I add up the monies I have spent chasing fish all over the world, both as a flyfisher and as a boater, I would have been better off to buy a fish shop.

But it's not about the fish is it?

So my point is, everything is relative, and unfortunately, getting more expensive. And, without wanting to ignite the biggest fire in history, America is running out of money to import resources to satisfy its domestic market. So it needs to better use what it has (using a more realistic pricing structure?) or find some more of it's own, or if it has, then to use it.

Whilst I appreciate the price of petrol in Australia is expensive, I also admit that Government taxes account for about 55% of the cost. That's a struggle for us to fight. What percentage of the price of petrol at the pump in America is taxes?

Sorry 'Gruvster', but the 'blow them up and take their oil...they can't stop us' comment at the end of your email does not do you any favours.
