Ok Rip, where ya gonna keep the toys when you need the covered space for projects. :p In otherwords I don't think you built it big enough. I am, however, jealous. You can't have enough covered space in this PNW.

Aye, you can build them too small, but you can never build 'em too big! Its got room for alittle growth, like the 27 footer that I'll own one day (its 28 x 36 deep)...and the truck stays outside so I got alittle room for the other projects.

Your second picture does the size more justice. Looks like you have plenty of room. I'm envious.

I was out last evening helping a young man learn to change and repair his car brakes. We had run into a few hitches so it took longer than anticipated. It started to rain, then it got dark. Needless to say, I'd a loved to have a shop to work in.

Beautiful garage!!! Man thats nice, I have a 10'x20' one bay right at the moment :( The new house though will have one modeled after yours!

Looks like you need some electrical work in there. I would have a ton of lights and outlets installed.

-John

I always hate to put costs up since there is always a contractor that will come by and say "You paid too much" on the internet...

My "cradle to grave" costs were $37,500 for the region we live in.

I had it contracted out, so I paid more than a neighbor who's plans I used, identical dimensions (except 2 X 10 ft. doors x 12 ft. high) He was his own contractor, built it himself with the help of 3 friends that were in the business, for materials cost of $26,000.

The electrical is going to cost me about $3000(Fixtures, labor and 210 ft. of 00 wire) I've yet to have that installed.
