You could build your own with a piece of 1"PVC/40 sec,glue on end caps,drill a hole thru one end,add a rope,silicone it.make it 8' long if were you fish at has soft mud!I have seen others built of of alumunn shafts(solid)with a end on it,8' long.
How about a galvanized copper grounding rod cut to 8 feet and braze a ring on the top to attach a rode? It should have plenty of weight to deeply penetrate soft bottoms.<br /><br />Israel Hands
