identification evinrude 50 HP VRO

Hello, i'm a dutchman who wants to know if it is possible if someone can tell me how old my engine can be. The number on the "freeze" plate is G2612400. Its the only number i can find on the engine.<br />Regards

Hello.<br />I am one of those crazy Americans who understands and speaks Dutch (spent too much time in Amsterdam).Je moet ons het indentificatie nummer geven.Did is te vinden op de clamp waarmee je de motor aan de boot verbind(aan de bovenkant of de zijkant.Het serie nummer verteld mij dat het waarschijnlijk van de mid tot late tachtiger jaren is.Antwoordt in het engels,dan krijg je meer reacties.

Now that explains why you write rolmops with one "L".

Hey Rolmops??<br />I know that you need the id number. But that's the problem! The only place i forgot to look is under the flywheel (vliegwiel) <br />The plate on the bracket is gone...

Just a quick question about G2612400.Are you sure about this number?I normally can trace it,but am having difficulty.<br /><br />DHP

DHPMARINE..<br />I've checked the number and it's good.<br />There are more numbers, on the cilinder block 334207, between the sparks 334230.<br /><br />regards..
