All crank case to cylinder nuts and bolts are to be 220-240 in. lbs. or 18-20 ft. lbs. The scocket head or Allen type screws are the same as the cap screws. Start with the center scoket screws. If you do not have a manual for this procedure,I strong recomend you get one. You really need to understand what your doing here before you start.
Thanks for the advice, I posted last night that I was using a manual and it said to tighten those bolts to 5 LBS, and that just seemed too little. This is why I wanted to check with the experts!
Sorry for my lack of knowledge (and this is due in part to a poorly written manual) but the flange bolts are these 10,11 bolts on the outside of the cover? say, 12 MM? Thanks.
