how high above the windshield does your top go? some stick up quite high and are not very well made, others are not attached to the front windshield. I have a fairly high top on mine, basically a camper stlye top, easy to fish out of. I have had it on for 5 years and I leave it up at 55+mph often without any problems.

I can say that I have safely had mine up for 55 mph. Although it will cause wear and tari on it a lot quicker though.

Belchy

My buddy has straps on either end and a center anchor on his bimini on his 18' Campion and at 45 (his top speed) it seems sturdy enough. He's experimented a little and found the angle the bimini tilts changes the ride at top speed.
Another time, I met briefly an idiot (long story) who had the same thing on his 30' Fountain / 540 BBC. Yes it looked silly on that boat but it never tore off and I think he did about 75-80 mph. I wouldn't know because the only time I was on it, not more than 2 minutes into our 'spin', he spun us at about 60 (sharp turn with the drive trimmed way up). There was injuries. He's a close friend of the in-laws but he doesn't like me now :)
He got what he deserved... I warned him about idiotic driving before the 'spin' and he chose to ignore me. Too bad for him.

That sounds like I'm trying to be a tough guy... I'm not a UFC champ by any means but some things rally get me going. Most of you would react the same way to a fella' that only moments before said he just cruises around 'super mellow' (he said).

I've had mine up to 60 with no problems. Just make sure to put a twist ion the support straps so they don't vibrate.

I don't have one yet. I envisioned getting one that did not come down to the windshield, something that you could stand up under.
