which plug for a 99 johnson 150

I have been running the ql78yc in this motor since new. But, I just bought a clymer manual that says the ql77jyc4 should be run in "oil injected" motors. mine is vro. which plug should I run and what are the differences?<br /><br />thanks<br /><br />wayne

60° V-6, carburated? If so the QL78YC is the correct, currently recomended plug. The QL77JC4 does not have a projected nose and it's a little cooler.

The 1999's did not have a VRO. It's oil injected at a relatively straight ratio.
