power packs

last summer my boat worked fine except for a loose ingnition switch. i put my boat in shop to replace ingnition switch, now the guy says my power pack is out. how did that happen? did he do it fixing the ignition?

if during the switch install he shorted your (b)<br />terminal to the (m)terminal then he owes you a power pack. If it died of natural causes then its a tough call. good luck and let us know.<br />dave

I really dont know how you would prove it, unfortunatly we are sometimes at the mercy of the mechanic. There are still honest ones out there. when you find one hang on and dont let go.
