Getting ready to put the new seals in the gearcase head. The manual says to fill the void between the inner and outer seal with OMC Triple Guard Grease. Are there any options available, or do I need to make a trip all the way to the marina again? Hate to make the trip and buy a big tube if I don't have to Especially since it doesn't look to me like with the seals back to back, there's much of a void to fill. Thanks in advance.

Any good quality waterproof grease will do the job.

I was kidding you. I don't think any petroleum based grease is water soluable. I assumed it was a typo and you meant marine grease.

Sorry, missed the humour. Yep, marine grease/waterproof grease. Same dog, different bark.
