I have just rebuilt the four carbs on my '86 120 looper over winter. I also added a foot throtle. I started it up on the mufs and after warm-up the idle is a lot lower than it used to be. Before the rebuild I would get about 1200 RPM on mufs but in the water, ingear, it was about 650 RPM. Now on the mufs I am only getting about 700 RPM and will stall easily. I havn't put it in the water yet.

When I did the rebuild I only took off the bowls, and did not touch any linkage. Is it 'normal' for the idle to drop like this? I will do a link and sync but was wondering if I did something wrong during the rebuild?
