83 50hp evinrude stops running at idle and full

I have a 1983 50 hp Evinrude that bogs down and stops running at idle and full throttle. It seems to be getting too much gas. I can see gas /oil in the water after it stops running and when i attempt to restart. It does restart but stops running soon after. The motor ran fine 1st day out but stated to have these problems after that.thanks for any help. Chris

You need to move this to the Johnson/Evinrude repair forum. Sounds like a stuck float.

Time for a carb rebuild.
