2000 Johnson

I've heard the only difference between a 90 hp and 115 hp in this year was the carbs. Would I need new carbs or just jets and would it be practicle? Thanks

There are all sorts of myths like that about engine families that share displacement, youngll.<br /><br />Though possible, it is very unlikely. More likely is that there are differences in the port timing, exhaust system and heads as well as the carbs.

Not so with the new Merc Verado. The only difference between the 200, 250 & 275Hp is, I believe, software & a label! You can buy the software but it costs you an arm & a leg.

Maybe,but if I was to put a merc 200 or bigger on my little boat, it would probably aim at that lil' fishn' hole in the sky,literally!
