Did you vent the tank?

Another question, why do you capitalize every single letter in your paragraph?

I had the same problem earlier this year. It was a crack in the fuel line at one of the clamps. I had tightened it down too much.

that is a lot of capitalizing, what ever floats your boat though, ha ha ha. I would check to make sure your tank was vented like oceansbreeze said, and also check your fuel lines for cracks or breaks, especially if the hose bends sharply, it could be letting fuel go through then opening up and sucking in air, let us know. Good luck.

It's also not the best idea to use hose clamps because of that very reason (overtightening) it's better to use marine clamp. Just a thought though.

When it surges pump your primer bulb dude and see if it sets it right if you know what I mean. If it does then you have carb problem man which means you might have to rebuild them. Don't worry man it's an easy job. Just buy an OEM manual or if you don't have the bucks go to the library. It's usually that big brick or stone building on the corner dude. They should have one. Good luck man and let us know what happens.

Thanks For All The The Input Guys!!!!! YeP I Capitalize All The Begining Letters...Its Just How I Learned To Type! I Didn't Know That The Gas Tank Had To Be Vented For a Johnson Or Evinrude. I Thought, Where The Gas Line Clips To The Engine Or Gas Tank, The Fitting Did The Venting. The Gas Line Is New, And The Tank I Currently Have Hooked Up Is A Fresh Tank, I'm Gonna Crack The Cap On The Tank Tomorrow And See If It Makes Any Difference. I'll Give An Update Tomorrow.

Don't you just hate it when that happens? Sure would be nice to know if he solved the problem and how.

If he didn't vent the tank would'nt the tank evenually start to collapse.... if it's plastic and no air leaks....Just curious
