I can get the tilt to go down but not up. I rotated the manual release screw 2 turns out and more and have tried to raise the engine repeatedly. We used 3 guys lifting, we raised the trailer with blocks under the engine and lastly I used a truck with straps to try and pull and raise the engine. All to no avail, its frozen down. I just took the boat out a month ago with zero problems and it has been maintained and stored very well. I checked all the usual electrics, changed relays, swapped relays, jumpered the switch. Tried neutral reverse forward engine on/off, pulled on wires checked fuses etc. One weird thing is you do not get a "Click" in the relay when you try the Up button (or jumper it) but you do when you press down.

Right now the engine is so low it cannot be trailered to a mechanic. It cannot even be moved right now. I was thinking about removing the Lower Unit altogether just so i can get it to a shop. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Follow the wire from the trim motor up into the engine compartment til you get to a connector. Unplug the connector and jump the trim motor wires directly to a battery. Green to ground and blue to positive. See if that raises the motor,.

That Worked!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Now at least I can trailer it somewhere if I don't figure out what part reverses the current that isn't working.
