1999 Johnson 200 ho water pressure gauge?

Hello, I am trying to put in a water pressure gauge in a 1999 200ho powerhead. I tried to put it in the adapter plate right under all of the throttle control arm stuff (took out small allen plug and replaced it with fitting). I am not getting any psi at any rpm there. Where shouold i be hooking this gauge up too? Is this a motor that it should just be (t'd) into the overboard indicator? Thanks for your help in advance.<br />Steve

Wrestler20,<br /><br />I just put a H20 pressure gauge on a 1998 Johnson Ocean Pro. On either head about in the center is a 1/8" pipe plug. Remove that plug and install your tubing fitting.<br /><br />Hope this helps,

I looked on both heads for a threaded pipe plug and couldn't find anything on either head. I did move the pick up from the forward plug on the adapter plate to the aft plug on the adapter plate to see if it works there. Let me know where else to look if you have any info.
