Hi guys, I have a SELOC manual, but it really didn't provide any good info on the wiring of the tach.

I have an OMC 174052 tach, it was working before I redid the deck and had to cut it. I did NOT take pics of it, like a moron.

Anyhow, anyone know a good resource for me to start figuring it out? All the wires are prob still under my console since none of that changed, I just have no idea where to start.

Thanks!!!

Black is ground; Purple is power (from ignition switch); Blue is light (turns on with running lights); Gray is tach sender (from motor). :)

Awesome, thanks Calico!

My only question is with the gray wire (sender) This is what I have coming from my relay box, the green, blue are for my TNT, and obv red is power, could it be one of the other two?

Thanks again.

No, the white/brown and white/black are for the trim gauge, if you have one.

They might have been hooked to nothing, capped off. The Gray tach sender wire should be bundled with the ignition switch/remote control wires.

It (the gray tach sender wire) would not be connected to the ignition switch though.
