spark plug gap size

Can anyone help with the spark plug gap for 1995 Johnson 40 horse outboard?

But I pulled QL77JC4 plugs out the motor. Should I use same gap size then or should I get the plugs you said?

Ok, lets go with this post then.<br /><br />There's not a lot of diffence between the two plugs. The YC has a projected nose which you might like a little better as it tends to stay cleaner. I think the QL77JC4 was the original spec plug.<br /><br />No big deal either way.

I think I will stick with the original plugs. I have already bought them so I still want the .030" gap then since I don't troll that much?

Exactly. If you've already got the QL77JC4s new, use them.

if that thing has a vro be sure and use the QL plug always in it.<br />What you are running now or the latter either one.
