Re: Manuals in .pdf format

You'll never in a million years find manuals in a .pdf format, available to the general public, anyway. They'd be too easy to distribute, thus breaking the various copyright laws.

Dealers and Technicians would have access to that stuff.

I'd LOVE to have a set for my computer, as I have one in my shop. The closest thing I've found to "computerized" manuals is at seloconline.com, you can subscribe to their online manuals- $35 for 3 years.

RK

Re: Manuals in .pdf format

I try to never say never....'cause most of the time when I do...I'm wrong.

The net is a big place...and I'd bet that somewhere...somehow...when you least expect it...you're gonna find a service manual in pdf format out there.

Now, if you wanted a Mercury shop manual in .pdf...you could go here:

http://www.biggerhammer.net/mercury/factory_manuals/Service_Manual_Index.html

I don't know of a similiar site for OMC stuff...but I'm betting it's out there somewhere.

I'd like to find one for my early 80's Johnson 15..so if someone here can give me that link..I'd be grateful.

Thanks for reading, Chuck
