1973 - 135HP Stalls 30 seconds into the run

1973 - 135HP Stalls 30 - 40 seconds into the run.<br />After it stalls out I can re-start the motor but this is something new for me. I am not sure what's going on. The boat is 19ft 1974 boat and it only does about 23mph - 24mph. If I push it 26 - 27 mph when it's flat seas. It was de-carb this year and I did not notice any issues after that.

Do a compression check and spark test & post the results.

I have the compression out puts, If I did it right 135 - 136 - 137 -137 I am not sure which cyclinder gave the numbers but I notice they were close.

Will it stay running if you pump the primer bulb. If it does you may have an air leak. Check all hoses and clamps. If you find nothing check the fuel pump as it may not be pumping at all. Disconnect it from the carbs and see if it is pumping.

You running the same plugs that were in for the decarb,the decarbing can screw up plugs,if so change them

What is the rpms at WOT? Compression is fine.

Sherman - I will switch the spark plugs because I still have the old plugs in.<br /><br />Dolluper- I will test the fuel pump as well. <br /><br />SoLittle - I dont have a tach on this older boat but if there is a way for me to hook one up I will try to do so.<br /><br />Thank you to everyone with your help on this!
