i have a problem with my 1987 evinrude 150 when i start it ,i lift up the warm up lever but it will not idle very high and it takes about 10- 15 minutes of running before it will accept full thortle or it will drown out,but once it warms up it will run good all day but sometimes i have to drive it around again for 10-15 minutes.when i come back to the no wake zone to take it out it starts to die and i can smell alot of fuel . any help would be great, also does anyone know if you can print a manual over the internet

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have an OEM manual for your motor. Its really tuff to make adjustment without one.

Sounds like you may have a carb. float sticking open . You will need to rebuild and clean carb's .

You will also need to do a link and sync. procdure on motor.

Check for air leaks in fuel lines.

You will also want to check WOT timeing. Engine will need to be setup to turn 5800 to 6000 rpm,s.

Good luck!

Hello Stevogreeno. Right under the ignition switch there is a little black thumb wheel, you can turn that and change the idle speed(with the lever already pulled up).If you have a foot throttle, the idle lever dont work.My 89 is really cold collard.I have to choke(or prime)for a long time.,,,,PLUS you should do all the things Goodoleboy says to do. Good evening stevogreeno..I might have told you something wrong. That thumb wheel is probably tension adjust for gear shift, not idle adjust.I think idle is by raising handle higher.so sorry. BYE.
