9.9 fuel pump diagram

I have an 82 9.9 evinrude that has been setting up for years. I cleaned everything including the carb. and bought a kit for the fuel pump. I need a diagram in order to put the parts back where they should go. Bought a book and did a search here but no luck.<br />I would appreciate any help.<br /><br />thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't show the explodes view of the fuel pump assy. I need to know how all the gaskets, diaphrams, springs, etc. go back together.<br /><br />thanks

Go back and look again at the list of diagrams on the BRP site, Evinrude, 1982, 9.9. The parts diagram for the fuel pump is listed as "Fuel Pump". <br /><br />Once the diagram loads, you can enlarge it and print it using the 4 icons above the diagram.<br /><br /><br />Hope this helps.

Went back and looked at it but it doesn't show the diagram of the fuel pump assy. I need to know how the parts fit in the pump assy.<br />thanks for your help.

You must be looking in the wrong place. There is an exploded view of the fuel pump on the BRP site.<br />GO to the advanced search feature, enter the model number on your motor (E10RCN example for 1982) then select fuel pump from the menu. Don't think you will find much more detailed info than whats there. Good luck.

I went to the site and did the search as you suggested but I still don't see the explodes view of the pump assy. which is labeled part 1 on the site. I need to know where the springs and gaskets go in this part which is part of the repair kit.<br />thanks for your help and understanding. Maybe I'm just not seeing it. Please advise.<br /><br />ted
