throttle /gear control box for '61 johnson 40hp seahorse

i just bought this motor and would require the throttle / gear selector handle (box) for this motor. Where can I find used for good price? (edited solicitation)<br /><br />this motor has a bulk of cables coming out of it, i guess these need to be connected to the box im looking for.<br /><br />thanks

The cables coming from the engine go into a different, electrical only box. It contains a solenoid, fuses, and sometimes a regulator is attached. If you have a little wiring know how, you can replicate everything in it easily. If not, you should be hunting for that box too. Sometimes it's refered to as the harness.<br /><br />That ought to be a manual shift. If so, any OMC (Johnson/Evinrude) mechanical shift box will work. You do need the appropriate cables.
