I have a 1962 Johnson 10 HP. What is the correct compression.<br /> <br /> Thanks, Mike

There is no specific number.Not knowing the general condition of your engine with repsect to normal wear and any carbon buildup on ring grooves ,I'd expect numbers from 80-100 psi would be healthy ones.You also would like the cylinders to read within 10 percent of one another on compression.
