92 johnson waste alot of gas/mufflers smells like gas

Last week i took my 92 johnson for a ride and it used more gas than usual. As i was going i smell the scent of unburned gas from mufflers any suggs.<br /><br />thanks for ay help

What's the hp postman and how did the engine run? Losing any rpm?

well my 92 johnson is a 120, and everything else seemd alright. i noticed more than usual gas gusling and a gasoline smell from the muffler.<br /><br /><br />thx

Sounds like one or more cylinders are not firing. Check the spark plugs for fouling and possibly no spark...
